"Just Guns' new record, Secrets/Spotlights, reminds me of really old thrift store bootcut jeans: the album is somewhere inbetween the cowboy that donated them and the indie kid who wears them now. And if that makes no sense, I'll drop some names: Think of Merle Haggard, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young. Think of My Bloody Valentine, Death Cab for Cutie, Dinosaur Jr, Interpol."
